About Alyssa Shapper

I started as an intern at a marketing agency and never really left the work. Over the next decade I became National Director of Marketing for one of the largest privately held addiction treatment providers in the country, ran my own studio, AV Digital Creations, on the side, and picked up every part of the job along the way: analytics, project management, content and social, local marketing, PR, integrated campaigns, and event production. I also spent a lot of time in front of and behind cameras — producing television segments, celebrity endorsements, and video that landed our programs on A&E's Intervention, Good Day New York, Bloomberg, CNN, NBC News, ABC, HuffPost, and Psychology Today.
 

Somewhere in there I fell for Salesforce. I attended Salesforce University in 2014, became the person who could make the CRM do what the business needed, and led a company-wide implementation across admissions, marketing, and operations. Today that's half of what clients hire me for: the plan, and the system that makes the plan run.

I was born in Queens, raised in Central New Jersey, and live in South Florida. I graduated with honors from Palm Beach State College in 2016 and am completing a Business Marketing Management degree at Florida Atlantic University. When I'm not working I'm usually shooting photos (@shappyshots) or recording an episode of Lower Your Voice.
